The Arnold Palmer Invitational is played at the Bay Hill Club and Lodge every March.

The Bay Hill Club is a private golf resort owned by Arnold Palmer since 1974.

The event has a reduced field of 120 players.

The other four tournaments with similar invitational status are:

  • The Genesis Open
  • RBC Heritage
  • The Fort Worth Invitational
  • Memorial Tournament

In 2019 the Arnold Palmer Invitational was added to the Open Qualifying Series, giving up to three non-exempt players the opportunity to enter The Open Championship.
