Tyrrell Glen Hatton was born on 14 October, 1991 in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England.

He started swinging a club at the age of 13 months. When he was just three he started playing the Par 3 course at Wycombe Heights and soon began to flourish.

He decided he wanted to be a European Tour player when he attended the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth Club. Attended the event numerous times, traveling 30 minutes from his home in Marlow.

Tyrrell has been a member of Harleyford Golf Club, located in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, England, since the age 11. As a junior he represented England and GB and I teams, as well as qualifying for the 2010 Open Championship at St Andrews as an 18-year-old.

Tyrrell turned professional in 2011 and joined the European tour in 2014.

In January 2024, Tyrrell Hatton joined the LIV golf League, teaming up with Jon Rahm’s Legion XIII squad. He ended a three-year victory drought by capturing his first LIV title at LIV Golf Nashville in June 2024, shooting a final score of 19-under-par to win by six strokes over runner-up Sam Horsfield.
