More about Jordan Spieth

Jordan Spieth was born on the 27th of July 1993 in Dallas, TX, went to high school there, and eventually played his college golf for the University of Texas.

Spieth has been a golfing phenom since a young age. He won the USGA Junior Amateur twice (the only other person to win more than once is Tiger Woods) and he was the #1 ranked junior based on AJGA rankings.

Jordan turned professional at age 19 (2012), halfway through his sophomore season at Texas.

In 2014, he launched the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation to provide time, support, and financial resources to four key areas: special-needs youth, military families, junior golf, and pediatric cancer. Since its inception, the foundation has donated over $1.5 million to community organizations aligned with these pillars.

Spieth is known for his superb short game, particularly his putting. His ability to read greens and sink crucial putts under pressure has forged his reputation as a clutch performer.
