Harvey Penick was a professional golfer, golf instructor and author who had a significant impact on the game of golf.
Harvey Penick was born on the 23 of October 1904 in Austin, Texas. He died on the 2nd of April 1995.
He began his career in golf as a caddy at the Austin Country Club and eventually became the head golf professional there in 1923.
He coached many famous players including Tom Kite, Ben Crenshaw, and Mickey Wright.
Harvey was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2002.
In 1992, he co-authored Harvey Penick's Little Red Book.
