Oak Hill Country Club is a private golf club which was founded in 1901.

There are two 18 hole golf courses, The East (par 72) and The West Course (par 71).

Donald Ross, a legendary golf course architect, was commissioned to design two 18-hole courses, the East Course and the West Course, at the new location. Over the years, the East Course, in particular, has gained fame for its challenging layout and has hosted numerous major championships.

The East Course at Oak Hill Country Club is the only course in America that has hosted all six rotating men’s golf championships, including the 1995 Ryder Cup and the 1998 United States Amateur.

The East Course at Oak Hill is the club's crown jewel and is considered one of the finest golf courses in the world. It is known for its classic parkland style, featuring narrow, tree-lined fairways, deep bunkers, and fast, undulating greens. The course is also famous for its "Hill of Fame," where trees are planted to honor golf's legends who have competed at Oak Hill.

Some of the most notable golfers to win major championships at Oak Hill include Jack Nicklaus, Lee Trevino, and Shaun Micheel.

The East Course at Oak Hill is considered one of the toughest golf courses in the United States, with narrow fairways and small greens that are heavily bunkered.

The West Course, while not as well-known as the East Course, is still a high-quality layout and offers a slightly less challenging but enjoyable round of golf. It retains many of the design characteristics of Ross’s work but has been adapted for more recreational play compared to the East Course.
