Cody Gribble was born September 20, 1990 in Dallas, Texas.

A left handed golfer, he played college golf at the University of Texas and won the 2012 NCAA Championship with teammates Dylan Frittelli and Jordan Spieth.

As an amateur he won the 2007 Western Junior.

In 2012 he won the NCAA Championship with teammates Dylan Frittelli and Jordan Spieth.

Cody became the second Texas Longhorn from the 2012 National Championship team to earn his PGA TOUR card following Jordan Spieth.

He turned pro in 2013.

Cody Gribble won his first PGA Tournament, the Sanderson Farms Championship, in October 2016. His total score was 268 (-20). Runners up were Chris Kirk,, Luke List and Greg Owen 4 shots behind.

Cody Gribble tied for 21st at the 2014 US Open.
