Tom Morris Jr. has won four major championships, the 1868, 1869, 1870 and 1872 Open Championship.
Tom Morris Jr. (20 April 1851 – 25 December 1875) was born in St Andrews, Fife, Scotland.
He was known as Tom Morris Junior and Young Tom Morris.
His father was four time Open winner Tom Morris Sr. or Old Tom Morris.
Tom was the first young prodigy in golf history. He was a professional golfer.
He played his first Open at the age of 14 in 1865.
Tom’s first Open win in 1868 made him the youngest major champion in PGA history at the age of 17.
