LIV might say there is no official South African team but with South Africans Louis Oosthuizen, Charl Schwartzel, Branden Grace and Dean Burmester grouped together we might expect the Stinger GC team to get extra support from that corner of the world.
Seasoned professional Oosthuizen captains the Stinger GC team and, along with 2011 Masters champion Charl Schwartzel, lays a sound foundation for the unofficial South African team. Grace has been solid for many years and Burmester has 10 professional wins to his name including 2 on the European Tour. We can expect a strong performance from the South African Stingers in 2023.
