Royal Liverpool Golf Club is located at Meols Dr, Hoylake, Wirral CH47 4AL, UK.
The Royal Liverpool Golf Club was founded in 1869 and is one of the oldest golf clubs in England.
The original course was designed by Robert Chambers.
The most significant redesign was done by Harry Colt in the early 20th century, who transformed the course into the layout that is largely in place today.
The course, known as Hoylake Links, is a traditional links course characterised by its sandy dunes, undulating fairways, and challenging bunkers. It provides a true test of golfing skill, particularly when the wind blows off the nearby Irish Sea.
It is a par-72 course with a total length of around 7,300 yards for championship play.
The Royal Liverpool Golf Club has hosted many Open Championships in the past.
