Fowler wears orange in his final rounds as a nod of the head to his Alma Mater, Oklahoma State University.
His introduction to golf was modest as he played only on a driving range and was entirely self taught in his early years.
Fowler was the world number one amateur golfer for 36 weeks during 2007/8.
As at June 2023 he is considered one of the best current golfers not to have won a Major.
