Pine Valley Golf Course, located in Pine Valley, New Jersey, is often regarded as one of the best and most exclusive golf courses in the world. It was founded by a group of amateur golfers from Philadelphia in 1913 and designed by George Arthur Crump. Opened in 1913, Pine Valley is known for its challenging layout, diverse topography, and pristine conditions.
Pine Valley opened in 1914 with 11 holes ready for play.
The slop rating, as of 2010, was 155 from the championship tees and a still tough 153 for the regular tees.
There are no rakes at Pine Valley. The bunkers and other sandy areas are true hazards!
It is a very private club and to play you must be invited by a member.
