Hideki Matsuyama received the Prime Minister’s Award in Tokyo for winning the 2021 Masters golf tournament.
Hideki Matsuyama won the 2021 masters with a total score of 278 (-10). Runner up was Will Zalatois one shot behind (-9).
Hideki Matsuyama became the first Japanese male golfer to win a major championship.

Hideki Matsuyama wore the green jacket at the presentation and gifted the prime minister a green masters cap and a pin flag from the tournament.
